Custom System Design and Installation
All our solar installations are custom, informed by our long experience in the field and our up-to-the-minute knowledge of the latest products, government and utility policies and programs, and best practices in solar energy. And our designs, as well as our installation work, are grounded by our decades of traditional electrical contracting work. Each site is unique and we'll recommend one of the three major types of solar installations:
Roof Mount This is the most typical installation. Light-weight engineered racking systems for any style roof are available. All our roof-mounted systems have a six-inch or better clearance, to allow for air circulation and the prevention of debris buildup. Take a look at some of these projects in our project Photo Gallery.
Ground Mount Our work with ranchers and farmers have given us wide experience in designing systems that work in the wide open spaces. Ground mount systems are easy to clean, and can be designed for perfect orientation and pitch. Take a look at some of these projects in our project Photo Gallery.
Elevated Structure Our custom-designed elevated solar support structures are the perfect solution for sites with sufficient space to dedicate to a ground mount. They also are an option for anyone who would like to have a solar installation with a dual purpose: supporting the solar panels while at the same time creating a stylish, shaded environment that can be used as a carport or a outdoor living area. Sufficient clearance allows plenty of headroom for cars or people. The all-steel structure will last a lifetime. Approximate Footprints for Structure to support typical solar systems:
A 5 kw system requires a structure of about 16’ x 34'
A 7 kw system requires a structure of about 16’ x 45’
A 10 kw system requires a structure of about 16’ x 63'
